SCULPTURES OF SAND 2017 - Lido di Jesolo, Venice, Italy
The Sand Sculptures of Jesolo Lido, one of the most important sand art events in the world, celebrate the 20th anniversary!
The theme is Europe and the Treaties of Rome (March 25, 1957). The exhibition allows authors to figuratively interpret European culture, its birth and its most fundamental aspects: Europe, the 60 years of peace - the art, culture and history of European peoples. The union of different nations under a single, proud symbol of harmonious development.
The works show some of the thousands of European achievements in the field of cinema, science, art and prosperity that it has guaranteed to all.
Until May 31st, all of Brescia's square becomes a large open-air creative workshop, where the imposing sand sculptures will be realized. All visitors will be able to observe the various "steps" of sand processing, from the first sketch, to the finished work. The exhibition, which runs until September 10, is open, free throughout the day.
