Activity in the territory

A city on the sea and symbol of the unification of Italy; so much so that this fact has given its name to the main town square (Piazza Unità d'Italia), which is the largest in Europe, overlooking the sea. Famous for the Castle of San Giusto, the Miramare Castle (a marine reserve) and the Roman amphitheatre. Do not miss little towns like Muggia, the hinterland of the Carso, the Foibe of Basoviza and renowned Pesek.
