Venice, the Pearl of Europe

Back to article list

Venice is a city that is reflected in the water and the image is forever imprinted into the eyes of those who look at it. The traveler is captivated by the beauty and multitude of monuments and works of art. St. Mark's Square, the heart of the city, is an important urban and architectural complex, named after the famous Basilica of St. Mark, built in the eastern style and surmounted by five Byzantine domes.
Here every corner is incredible and unrepeatable, charming and characteristic. These are some of its most famous sites: St. Mark's Square, the Doge's Palace, the Arsenal, St. Mark's Basilica, Ca 'd'Oro, Ca' Corner. If you have the opportunity, take a boat or gondola trip along the Grand Canal (public boat route number 1 runs the whole length).
Jesolo is definitely a strategic point for reaching Venice, with various options: via Punta Sabbioni or Treporti by car (about 30 mins.) Or by bus (about 40 mins.) Then from here by boat to Venice Lido or St. Mark's Square. From Jesolo central bus station there are departures every 30 minutes for Venice or you can get  directly to Venice, in about an hour, by car (park in the long-stay Tronchetto or Piazzale Roma car parks).
If you want an alternative method of transport, a boat leaves every day from the hotel's beach area and takes you straight to Venice.
