Its beauty is universally recognised, especially its famous Basilica of St. Anthony, which has given it the name of the City of the Saint. Be sure to visit the Scrovegni Chapel in Piazza Eremitani, an extraordinary masterpiece of medieval art, Caffè Pedrocchi, the Bò University (one of the oldest in Europe), the Cathedral Baptistery with its beautiful frescos, the Botanical Gardens (the world’s oldest, founded in 1545) and the Prato della Valle monumental elliptical square, bordered by numerous ancient palaces.  
From Jesolo you can reach Padua (approx. 90 km) by car (take the Mestre ring road and then head towards Milan), or by train from San Donà di Piave, which you can reach by car or bus in 20 mins from the resort.
