Discover the Venetian seaboard with a tour that combines cycling and a scenic boat tour. Ride across Jesolo Lido and, with your bikes in tow, take the boat at Cavallino Treporti to get to Lio Maggiore. Carry on riding in the lagoon, exploring the canals and the local wildlife, taking a break at the holiday farm for a tasting of typical local products.
This bike tour takes you through the Jesolo Pine Forest and on towards Cortellazzo and the Piave river. Ride as far as the Laguna del Mort, a natural unspoilt environment rich in biodiversity. The itinerary, with its uphill and downhill stretches, ends with a tasting before your return.
The itinerary starts in Jesolo Lido and crosses the bridge over the Sile river, carrying on along Via Pordelio, a scenic road above the lagoon. It takes you to Treporti and Lio Piccolo, where you can admire the view and discover the local agriculture. The tour includes a boat trip along the Canale dei Bari, rich in biodiversity.
Setting off from Jesolo Village, follow the Sile river cycle path, where the Greenway cycle path that connects Jesolo to Treviso begins. Continuing along the banks and fishing valleys, the itinerary passes by Torre Caligo, Caposile, the ancient course of the Piave Vecchio river and the “Porte del Tajo” lock. After stopping to eat your packed lunch, carry on along the cycle path until you come to Cortellazzo.
The itinerary passes by Cortellazzo and along the riverbanks, across the drained areas between Piave and Livenza. You’ll then come to Boccafossa in Torre di Mosto, where you can visit the Landscape Museum and, after a break for lunch, ride along the Livenza river, passing by Ca’ Cottoni, Ca’ Corniani and the Pumphouse of Termine until you come to Jesolo.
By car or transfer service from the hotel, you’ll get to the locality of Treponti where you’ll find the bikes already aboard a boat, so that you can explore the Island of Sant’Erasmo. The itinerary continues with a visit to the local agricultural holding and a tasting. Then, after lunch on board, you can visit the Island of San Francesco del Deserto along with a Franciscan monk, for a unique spiritual and historical experience.
